The Warriors blow out the Spurs behind a big night from Donte DiVincenzo and others
The Warriors get their fourth road win of the season, 8 players score in double digits, Andrew Wiggins and Steph Curry continue to find their footing, and more.
In their fourth road win of the season, the Warriors took care of business and induced an extended period of low-stakes minutes during the fourth quarter. Four more games on the road await the Warriors. Two of those games come against eastern conference powerhouses, the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors desperately needed some momentum for this road trip and with tonight’s stress-free game, they also brought some rest for their key players. Well, mostly.
Jonathan Kuminga has now been cleared to return to practice while JaMychal Green and James Wiseman, who Steve Kerr said expected to only miss one game with his ankle sprain, should be joining the team soon. I’m probably overreacting. I’ll definitely be overreacting to the minutes of Iguodala and Looney in a blowout if the Warriors have Kuminga and JMG by Sunday. But it was still jarring and a little amusing for garbage time to come about with two of the Warriors’ iconic role players on the floor.
